Animal Services
Dog Licenses can be purchased through the Finance Department 925-960-4315
You can have 6 pets total, only three can be dogs
They must apply for and be approved for an Animal Fanciers Permit
No. Nuisance wildlife issues are handled by Alameda County Vector Control 510-567-6800.
Dogs are required to be on a 6 ft leash in parks at all times except in designated areas. Dogs must be in control at all times.
We do not provide traps. We pick up contained cats, ie: cat carrier, humane trap, etc.
Any dog that continually barks in a fashion that disturbs any one person at any time of day or night is in violation of the city ordinance

The Police Department does not have a program set up for citizens to participate in community volunteer hours outside of our formalized volunteer program.

Go to the Livermore Police Department and fill out a Request for Initial Investigative Review or download a form by clicking on Request for Initial Investigative Review. You will be contacted by mail regarding the results.

No, unless (per 12814.6(a) V.C.) you live in rural areas (i.e. Mines Rd., Morgan Territory) where reasonable transportation facilities are inadequate (i.e. bus or taxi) and operation of a vehicle by a minor is necessary to transport the licensee or the licensee's immediate family member. The licensee shall keep in his or her possession a signed statement from a parent or legal guardian verifying the reason and containing a probable date that the necessity will have ceased.

Go to the Livermore Police Department and fill out a Report Request referencing your report number. There is a $10 fee to obtain a copy a copy of your collision report.
