It is important for everyone to understand the rules of the road, and abide by current laws when using scooters, e-bikes, off-road motorcycles (dirtbikes), and mopeds. In order to inform our community we have made a downloadable brochure that explains all the different classifications of these types of transportation, the legal requirements when riding, and possible penalties for not following the law. E-bike Safety Video Series
The Livermore Police Department launched an E-Bike Safety Video Series designed to educate parents and families about e-bike classifications, legal rider requirements, common dangers, and real consequences, including potential felony charges.
