As students return to class, we’re asking everyone - drivers, bicyclists, pedestrians, and parents - to help make the trip to and from school a safe one.
A few reminders:
▪️Follow the rules of the road and ride with traffic
▪️Wear your helmet every ride. It can’t protect you from the handlebars
▪️Keep your ears open and stay alert
▪️Make eye contact with drivers before crossing
▪️Slow down and watch for students and crossing guards
▪️Parents: Please use designated school drop-off areas and avoid stopping in the roadway
Parents, take a few minutes to talk with your kids about traffic safety and ask them one simple question: “Do you know the rules of the road?”
