The Livermore Police Department is making it easier than ever for the community to support local students and teachers through its annual Stuff the Cruiser school supply drive.

This year, the department has expanded donation options, giving community members three convenient ways to contribute and help ensure students have the supplies they need for a successful start to the new school year.

Community members can:

• Drop off new school supplies in the "Cruiser 54" donation bin located in the Livermore Police Department lobby through August 3.
• Stuff the Cruiser in person at Walmart on Saturday, August 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., by purchasing and donating school supplies during the event.
• Donate an Amazon e-gift card by emailing it to CommunityOutreach@LivermoreCA.gov. The department will use the gift cards to purchase needed school supplies on behalf of donors.

All donated supplies will benefit local students and teachers as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
