Livermore Police Investigates Fatal Traffic Collision

Post Date:04/29/2026

On April 28, around 1 p.m., Livermore Police responded to a traffic collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Isabel Avenue and Stanley Boulevard. When officers arrived, they located a motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries and immediately began CPR until paramedics arrived.

The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old woman from Livermore, was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

A preliminary investigation indicates the motorcyclist, riding a sport bike, was traveling northbound on Isabel Avenue and failed to stop at a red light before entering the intersection. She collided with a newer gray sedan that was turning left to travel southbound on Isabel Avenue.

The driver of the sedan, an 87-year-old woman from Pleasanton, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital. She has since been released. She is cooperating with the investigation.

The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau will release the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin.

The investigation remains ongoing.
