Between October 17 and October 19, 2025, the Livermore Police Department (LPD) received several reports of stolen Infiniti vehicles and multiple attempted vehicle thefts throughout the city. LPD’s Real-Time Awareness Center (RTAC) quickly identified a possible suspect vehicle registered in the City of Richmond.
LPD’s Crime Prevention Unit (CPU) took on the case and identified two juvenile suspects, a 16-year-old male from Richmond and a 17-year-old male from San Pablo. Investigators also determined that one of the juveniles was connected to several stolen vehicles in the Town of Danville. CPU authored Ramey warrants for both suspects as the investigation expanded across jurisdictions.
On December 4, 2025, the Contra Costa County SWAT Team served a search warrant at the Richmond residence of one of the juveniles. CPU assisted with the operation and located a carbon-fiber Infiniti hood - confirmed to have been stolen from one of Livermore’s cases - installed on the suspect’s vehicle (pictured). That juvenile was later arrested by Danville Police and booked into Contra Costa County Juvenile Hall.
Following the Richmond operation, CPU continued their investigation and responded to the second juvenile’s residence in the City of San Pablo. CPU arrested the juvenile at his home. He was booked on multiple charges, including four counts of vehicle theft, seven counts of conspiracy, and three counts of attempted vehicle theft.
“This investigation is a clear example of the persistence and dedication our department brings to every case,” said Livermore Police Chief Jeramy Young. “Even when a case takes months to solve, we don’t close the file and walk away. We continue to follow leads, partner with other agencies, and put in the time it takes to deliver justice.”
The Livermore Police Department extends its sincere appreciation to the following partner agencies for their coordinated efforts and support:

Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office and SWAT Team

Danville Police Department

San Pablo Police Department

Richmond Police Department
This collaborative effort played a critical role in identifying, locating, and arresting the suspects responsible for multiple vehicle thefts throughout the region.
