Just before 1 a.m. Saturday, Livermore Police responded to Mocho Street to a report of a man in his backyard. The man had attempted to gain access to the home by opening a back sliding door. The homeowner confronted the man and the man ran off.
Roughly an hour later, Livermore Police received another report of the man inside a home on El Dorado Drive. The man had previously lived at this house and was known to the homeowner.
With help from a police drone, officers ultimately located the man in the rear parking lot of Joe Michell School. Police found methamphetamine in his possession.
The suspect 29-year-old Alfredo Macedonia from Livermore was arrested on several charges including residential burglary, possession of a controlled substance and aggravated trespass and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
