Livermore Downtown’s Holiday Sights & Sounds Parade is on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.
To ensure a smooth and safe event, please be aware of the following street closures and parking restrictions:
Road Closures
Effective Dec. 6 starting at 1 p.m.
-South Livermore from First St. to Veterans Way
Effective Dec. 6 starting at 2 p.m.
-South Livermore Ave (from First St to Third St)
-First St (from Maple St to South N St)
-Second St (from Maple St to N St)
-Cross streets between First St and Third St (McLeod St, J St, K St, L St, M St)
-North side of 3rd St (from South Livermore Ave to L St) will also be no-parking zones
Parking Restrictions:
-Streets within the parade area will be marked NO PARKING. Vehicles left in the parade zone will be towed.
-Select spaces close at 11 a.m. (including those in front of Panama Bay Coffee and Legacy at Livermore)
-Handicapped parking will be available in the lot next to the Bankhead Theater
Spectator Reminders:
-Chairs and blankets must be behind the pink crowd tape, not in planter areas and sidewalks must stay clear for ADA access. All chairs and blankets will be removed from nonpermitted areas.
-Once the parade begins, NO crossing the street will be allowed.
-Streets are expected to reopen around 9 p.m., once it’s safe for pedestrians.
Safety Tips:
-Please use caution and wear high-visibility clothing when leaving the area.
-Drive slowly and be mindful of families with children walking home.
-Remember, open containers and public alcohol consumption are not allowed outside licensed areas.
